7.30am First thing in the morning I always have lemon juice in warm water.
8am Breakfast comprises two pieces of toast, one with avocado and Vegemite, the other with butter and a more than decent amount of peanut butter.
10.30am After a gym session, I have a protein shake.
1pm Lunch after two auditions and self-taping on the Gold Coast is eight pieces of sushi. I try to eat less but I know I am going for a run tonight!
4.30pm After another two auditions I have a late snack of tomato on crackers.
7pm Some nights I opt for takeaway but since I've already had one this week and have eaten a fair bit today, I keep dinner simple and light – a creamy chicken carbonara Youfoodz meal. Then I go for a run.

Top marks for … The sushi as a good takeaway lunch option. Although it is usually made with white rice, the fact that the rice is cold increases the amount of a special type of fibre called resistant starch. This is gold-star fuel for the healthy bacteria living in your gut. Sushi is also low-GI.
If you keep eating like this you'll … Have to watch your salt intake to avoid the risk of high blood pressure and other health problems. Although you didn't have takeaway, your ready-made meal has more than the suggested daily maximum of four grams of salt. If you dipped your sushi in soy sauce, you would be well over this limit.
Why don't you try … Making a few more home-cooked meals in which you can limit the added salt and boost your intake of nutritious wholefoods. Chicken cooked with vegies and a can of tomatoes, then tossed through wholegrain pasta, can be whipped up in less time than it takes to get takeaway.
