After taking a li’l hiatus, Miley Cyrus’ toned AF abs have finally made an appearance on her social media platforms. To help promote her sister, Noah Cryrus’ new EP, “The End of Everything,” Miley shared a TikTok of herself dancing in a bikini to the song “Ghost,” the EP’s first track. The “Slide Away” singer noted that it was her first time wearing a bikini “since quarantini” in the video’s caption.

So, how does Miley stay so fit? For starters, she does Ashtanga yoga and Pilates religiously, both of which she’s been practicing for several years, in addition to her very strict vegan diet. (In fact, she has the Vegan Society’s sunflower logo tattooed on her arm.)

According to Miley, her yoga practice can get pretty intense. “The thing about Ashtanga yoga is that sometimes it can be really uninspiring because the teacher will say, ‘Oh, don’t worry that’s just going to take you 10 years [to get],’ and you’re like ‘Wait, what?'” Miley told Jimmy Fallon, in 2016, before giving him a yoga lesson.

Miley has been studying Pilates since at least 2013, when she would train with L.A.-based Pilates teacher Mari Winsor.

Winsor told People that their sessions lasted half an hour, at least, and focused on abs and legs. “You have to learn how to not just tighten up your tummy but actually pull your tummy in to your lower back as much as you can,” she said. “Just doing 40 crunches a day isn’t gonna do it for you.”

Once Miley got tired of being stalked by paparazzi while trekking into the studio six days a week, she installed a Pilates studio in her home. And it seems like she’s been making good use of it lately!
